Dr. Hamid Shirazi, DO is a fully licensed physician currently completing his psychiatric training at the Piedmont Macon Psychiatry Residency Program. He provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adult patients, working collaboratively with therapists and care teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered treatment for a wide range of mental health concerns.

Dr. Shirazi earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and completed his undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His clinical interests include treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, sleep medicine, addiction treatment, interventional psychiatry, and the role of the endocrine system in psychiatric illness. He is particularly committed to integrating emerging research with individualized, practical treatment strategies to support meaningful and sustainable improvement.

Dr. Shirazi is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association. He currently provides outpatient psychiatric services in the Macon area, with plans to expand services into the Atlanta area in the near future. His approach is compassionate, collaborative, and thorough, emphasizing thoughtful care tailored to the unique needs of each adult patient.
