Annie Sweat is a Master’s-level clinician who earned her M.S. in Counseling from the University of North Georgia. She completed clinical training in a private practice setting, supporting adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1 & 2), anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, and major life transitions such as identity development, school and career changes, relationship shifts, and grief.

​

Annie is especially passionate about working with teens and adults, LGBTQ+ clients, and neurodivergent individuals. As an international adoptee, she also has a strong interest in supporting first- and second-generation immigrants exploring identity, belonging, and sense of self.

​

Her approach is client-centered and systemic, integrating evidence-based strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Annie also incorporates holistic practices such as mindfulness, somatic-based techniques, and whole-body wellness to support emotional regulation and meaningful, authentic living.

Annie is under the clinical supervision of Dr. Hanna Cespedes, Ph.D., M.S., LPC, ACS, NCC. She offers in-person sessions at the Peachtree Corners office and telehealth throughout Georgia, including Macon.
